For over 30 years, Hammerworks has been producing custom Colonial lighting fixtures.
Working with some of the most prestigious architects,designers and builders in the United
States we have collaborated to create fine custom lighting. Although Hammerworks has a large
selection of standard designs, there is often a need to customize our lighting. We can work
from customer design specifications,or create our own using customer guidelines.
With our abilities in forming metal,wood turning, welding and blacksmithing, we have what it
takes to complete your project with design and quality.Shown here are a few example of custom
lighting designs we have created.

Shown here is a custom application utilizing our unique SH-101 Antique brass
shades set on a simple but decorative hanging bar, to use over a pool table.
Other suitable areas to use this would be kitchen islands,meeting rooms and
any other areas where elongated lighting would be required. Three shades are
shown, but this custom fixture can be made with more or less shades,
depending on the needs of the space to be illuminated.
This fixture is also available in Antique tin finish. Our standard SH101 pierced

Hammerworks affiliate company has been
making custom designed pierced lighting
for Tommy Bahamas clothing stores and
Cafés. This high quality lighting is an
excellent enhancement to these
establishments, which specialize in casual
sophistication in their fashion and food.

This simple custom hanging
black cone shade is ideal for
use over a kitchen sink or for
spot lighting. The versatility of
this fixture allows it to be
grouped together as multiples
hanging from a single bar for
placement over pool tables or a
kitchen island. Available black
as shown,or in antique copper
or antique brass finish.

In early 1980's New England based
Friendly's Restaurant Corporation and
Lighting By Hammerworks worked together
to design and fabricate a lighting fixture to fit
the architecture of their new restaurants to
be built in the years to come. The light
fixture pictured here was created to fit their
building design.

This custom hanging lantern will capture the
essence of the true Colonial look. The
lantern has an open bottom for a down light
effect; it is shown with a 2 light cluster,and
additional options include 3 or 4 light
clusters. This custom hanging light is
