18th Century Reproduction Post Lanterns
Each 18th century reproduction post lantern from Hammerworks is solidly
constructed in your choice of  antique copper or antique  brass. The metal is
formed, bent and soldered by hand, using the same methods employed by our
colonial ancestors. The hand rubbed antique copper and brass finish gives the
fixture an attractive satin patina, which will oxidize naturally over time. If you
prefer, we can apply a Verdigris Copper finish, as shown on the 1033P
Berkshire Post Light below, giving your post lantern a more weathered look.

New Bedford Street Light
This charming copper post light is a replica of those used on the
streets of the famous whaling city, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
When the city was restoring their historical district, they turned to
Lighting by Hammerworks. Now, the streets where Herman Melville
walked among the sea captains and fishermen and wrote Moby
Dick are lit by these Hammerworks authentic antique reproduction
copper post lanterns.
